Olympic Forest Park (North): Autumn 2020

ClubFootball’s Autumn 2020 programme of weekend courses are now open for registration. Courses run on Saturdays and Sundays, and as always, are taught by ClubFootball’s qualified coaches from the UK.

With some ClubFootball coaches still stuck in the UK, we are running a slightly-reduced programme this Autumn, with courses condensed into our district hub venues. If you can’t see a course that’s convenient and have a group of friends who would like to play, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help out!

New for this season are our expanded ClubFootball Skills Leagues for Grade 2+, Girls-only groups at Chaoyang Park for girls aged G2-6, and brand new ClubFootball Teams for players born in 2013 and 2014. For more on these, please click on the links attached to this message.

‘Match Days’ for all

With tournament venues restricted due to Covid 19, we’re currently planning to run a matchplay exchange between venues, instead of all coming together for the Junior Cup. This means 2 weeks of each course will be designated as ‘Match Days’ where teams play friendly matches against teams from other ClubFootball venues. These matches are great fun and a fantastic opportunity for players to put their skills into practice in a matchplay environment.

Provisional dates for these are:
Saturday courses: Oct 24 & Nov 21
Sunday Courses: Oct 18 and Nov 15.

Please watch this space for details coming soon. If regulations change and it is possible for us to stage our Junior Cup event, we’ll contact players asap with a tournament update.

Course Information

Kit: for 2020/21, we will be keeping the red/black ClubFootball kit. Students who already have the red/black kit don’t need to buy another one. Please note that our stock of kit has already been printed so we are unable to print individual names on the back of the shirt this season.

Registration Form: all students who have not completed a 2020 ClubFootball Registration Form must fill one in for Autumn; please contact us for a registration form to fill in ( click here to download ), if you haven’t already filled one in this year, and send it back to coaching@clubfootball.com.cn or to the ClubFootball WeChat, along with a screenshot of your payment by Alipay or bank. Please remember to write your child’s name and your mobile number in the Alipay payment notes so we can match the payment to your registration!

Sundays: Sept  6, 13, 20 - Oct 11, 18, 25 Nov 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 

Course Notes

Important Update: All parents are asked to read the club's Discount & Refund Policies and Bad Weather & Pollution Policies before registering. The Registrations Policy sets out rules for discounts and refunds, and also clarifies venue rules and tips on how to get the best from your course. The Bad Weather & Pollution policies clarify procedures for cancellations due to rain and snow, and sets out API limits for each type of course, as well as the procedures to be followed should pollution readings require cancellation. 

In particular, please note that to ensure parents have quick access to weather information, cancellations due to weather will be posted on the club’s WGQXJuniors Weixin/WeChat account. Please note that from Spring 2017, to ensure the fastest possible access to information for parents, weather info will only be posted on the club's Weixin account and not on the club website.

Please note that for better service, each parent will be invited to join a specific WeChat group for their child’s course. This group will be used for providing information on course content to help you get the most from your ClubFootball course, as well as important news on new courses, matches, venue changes and weather issues.

Please note that students unavailable for these class-times can contact us for details on other courses nearby. To ensure groups are well-organised, players are asked to complete their registration and pay thier course fee as soon as possible. Places are limited and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
