Meet the ClubFootball Coaches - 2
ClubFootball's coaching team are all qualified professional coaches from the UK & Europe and have experience of coaching youngsters at all levels, from grassroots to elite professional club academy level. All are passionate about providing a developmental footballing experience and helping youngsters enjoy their football and improve their game. Head of Youth Development - Peter Norman
From Liverpool in England, Peter has a Bachelor of Science (with Honours) in Football Coaching, Development and Administration from the University of South Wales, and holds the UEFA B Licence. He also holds coaching certificates in goalkeeping and futsal from the English FA and the NSCCA in the USA.
Coaching since 2008, Peter’s coaching career has included several years in the US working both as a coach and camp director, and also two periods in Mexico City working with FutAcademy. In England, Peter began by delivering PE classes and coaches football at various clubs in the Merseyside area, including Premier League club Everton.
Peter’s management talents were also recognised, seeing him promoted to Regional Manager for the Manchester area for First Kick Football, where he worked for two years before joining ClubFootball in 2023.
Coach/PR and Social Media Coordinator - Dean McKinnon
From Greenock, Scotland - Dean has been coaching professionally for over twelve years across Europe and Asia. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (with Honours) in Sport Studies from Stirling University, as well as the UEFA C Licence. Additionally, he is also an Scottish Football Association Licenced Scout, and a fully trained Child Wellbeing and Protection Officer.
Dean has a wide range of experience in coaching both boys and girls, from grassroots to elite adult levels. In Scotland, the bulk of his experience was at Scottish League clubs Stenhousemuir (League One) and his hometown club Greenock Morton (Scottish Championship). At Greenock Morton, Dean held a range of positions, working up to the role of Football Coordinator, where he was responsible for overseeing the delivery of coaching for twenty nine squads. Outwith Scotland, Dean has vast international experience, coaching in Russia, Romania and Singapore. Dean joined ClubFootball in September 2024.
